Greetings dear viewer,

 

Before you look further, I would like to tell you a little story about myself, where I went and what I left behind and where the future might lead me to.

I grew up in Graz, a perfectly sized city in Austria. Not too big and not too small, ideal for a kid to explore and find Adventures.

I spent my first 21 years in this city and became a kindergarten teacher and jewellery maker, but I was not quite finished, I needed a new adventure.

 

So I set my sights on a new city… Amsterdam! The Gerrit Rietveld academy seemed like the place to write a new chapter, but it never felt quite right. 

 

After 2 and a half years, I ventured out and found myself in a theatre. There it was, the place ad the community I was looking for; realising this, I knew what I had to do, I needed to change my studies to be on this path and start from the beginning at the Theatre  and Dance Academy of Amsterdam.

 

Here i was discovering what it means to be a scenographer. Looking for ways to connect with the space I am creating and the people in it. Can they communicate? What kind of conversations will we come across if we start a dialogue with

our surroundings?

 

In my work I am always on the lookout for connection, my work is in need of

human interaction
